Why should I learn how to sew?

Of all the stuff you could learn that could help you in life, this has a direct impact on your quality of life pretty quick. Within like a year or so. Cloth as a raw material is wildly versatile like that
DIY stuff instead of buying it, you lose time, gain skills, save lots of money, possibly repurpose old fabrics. Can eventually make everything of fiber you ever wanted. Clothes, curtains, bedclothes, etc. think about how much in your life is made using a sewing machine
It's actually not as hard as it seems to use a sewing machine. Not a royal pain like hand sewing. If you can follow recipes and cook, you can learn to sew. You totally can.
