Reasons, among others: Youtube's lousy response time to all the covid misinformation on their platform, the excessive and insane ads punishing those too poor to afford Premium, the crap search algorithm that made it so I could not find educational stuff but just things like 5-minute crafts, the crap banning and demonetization algoritms/policies that banned folks like LostPause but not actual pedos, the lack of personal privacy since Google collects all your information it can get, overweening greed and corporate nihilism, the proliferation of people on Youtube trying to make a quick buck with no concern for accuracy of information, no way to contact anyone working for Google and no existence of a customer support team, etc. Those issues are all still there. The ethical and moral implications of what Google is doing are enormous and not good.
