K-12 Homeschooling or Supplemental Resources
UNDER CONSTRUCTION: this is very close to being done but our car broke down thanks to the Texas cold snap so it'll be another couple weeks before I get the goodies from the library. Currently lacking Earth Science and Chemistry information. I give it a maximum of 1 month before it's done. 5/14/21 Major apologies. I couldn't find any of that stuff at my local library and I'm having to ahem, find a workaround.
Here is a list of materials that can help with homeschooling. In the future this will be a comprehensive list of all the resources necessary for educating someone with the contents of K-12 school in the U.S. If you have a sneaking suspicion you never really learned this stuff in school, check it out. You might like it. If you're worried about buying all of these books fret not, I found most of them in my local library. Also, cheap books can be found on eBay and Better World Books, plus (5/21/24 edit) the other sources in the Shopping section and the Big Brain Time main section, maybe also the Reading section.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION FOR BASICALLY EVERY TOPIC
ACT AND SAT
- Get basically all of the books in the library for this year's SAT and/or ACT prep, depending on which you're taking, and work your way through each. Color-code your work with highlighter. The tests do not test your knowledge. They test how well you take the tests, which is what these test prep books are for. Start doing this two years before you graduate high school and you might just ace the stupid tests.
